A Pot Of Luck

I was reading an article the other day about Pirates aka the ones like Capt Jack Sparrow, being a thing of the past I totally disagree.

They abound and are rampant in every city and suburb of Malaysia. Cleverly disguised as one of the iconic symbols of Malaysia; The Mamak. Gone are the days when "eating out at the mamak" was synonymous with cheap food. Just walk into any Curry House and a simple meal of rice, meat and veggies can set you back by about RM8.

If you are working, you will find that you really are at the mercy of these joints because you just get bored eventually by the choice of food that you have at lunch time. Driven by rising costs and total frustration of having to decide daily on where we were going to have our lunch, the Pot Luck Lunch was born.

On the menu today, so far (it's only 8am and not all of us are in the office yet) is steaming white rice, spicy "kung po" chicken and sambal squid.

Now the challenge we face, is keeping the food away from two hungry wolves who have a talent for devouring food in a blink of an eye.
